How dice football works

One tee marks the ball and a yellow tee marks the first-down line. Each roll of two dice is a play. The chart turns the pair into yards, an incompletion, a sack or a turnover. Double threes and double sixes go all the way.

You get four downs to make ten yards. On fourth down you choose: go for it, punt, or try a field goal. A field goal is a dice roll too, and the longer the kick the higher you need to roll.

Each quarter is ten plays. Play alone and the board coaches the visitors, or play a friend on the same screen.
